Yoga has been in my life for around 22 years when a friend introduced me to a Hatha Yoga class. Over the years it has helped me with back issues, the stress of my job as a solicitor and the challenges that life tends to throw at you! I have always regarded the time on my mat as “me time”, to nurture and restore my body and mind. I also love practising yoga in nature.
I was introduced to Dru Yoga six years ago and I loved the flowing movements, the emphasis on strengthening my postural and core muscles and increasing my flexibility. My energy levels increased too!! As someone who can be quite competitive it also taught me not to compare myself with others and to work within the limits of my own body. This is a philosophy I bring into my own classes.
I love to bring fun to my classes using my favourite soul or disco music to warm you up and hope you leave my classes energised yet relaxed with a smile on your face!
